PROJECT #1
SLIDESHOW LINK
Reflection
In order to complete this project I first looked in the Living with Art texture book and turned it to chapter 4 in order to see some examples of what is expected for this project. After this process, I took pictures that I felt met the requirements for each of the 7 elements and the 7 principles. When i was done taking the photos, I uploaded the photos on a old photobucket account and then edited the photos which consisted of labeling them with the required name. After this process, I just posted the link onto my blog.
You did a really nice job with your photos and choosing elements in principles. I would have liked to see a reasoning behind your choices in your Blog. Your choice for space is good because it shows items in close proximately as well as farther apart. I also like the photo for emphasis. The red of the hair and the red of the wounds also create unity. The mini blinds are a good choice for line and I also see light as being another option.
ReplyDeleteYou picked some interesting pictures. I think we were to give a reason for our choices for each element or principle. I do like the photo you took for emphasis. The red of the hair and the wounds could also represent color and unity. The mini blinds are a great way to show line. I could also see light and intensity. Excellent choice for space. You show some objects in close proximately while others are spread out.
ReplyDeleteLike Jodi stated, your emphasis photo was my favorite because it grabbed the viewers attention. Your photo for shape is also interesting because it shows very similar shapes, but they all appear different or unique in their own way. That picture could also represent unity or pattern. Your example of movement is great because while the person in the picture is still, the cat is in motion. This could also illustrate contrast.
ReplyDeleteHi! I like your photos. I think was amazing have a lot of elements in our environment very close to us. Great Job! I like how you use your imagination.
ReplyDeleteI liked your photos! They all matched the elements.
