Questions
1. Discuss what you thought about creating your logo?
My thoughts for creating the logo was that it was going to be very easy. The reason why I say that is because I had the sketch book, the pencils and both paint and colored pencils. When I finished the three rough sketches and the final sketch of my logo, my thoughts were correct.
2. Describe the process: creative thinking skills and ideas you used in the logo creation
The first thing that came to my mind when it came to creating this logo was it must be something that I love; the thing that I love the most is Pokemon, so i based the logos on Pokemon related things. After brainstorming, I got my sketchbook and started coming with three random logos. When I was done, I took half of the idea of the first sketch I made and used the pattern to make my final sketch. Since I didn't feel like messing with paint I used color pencils because it was less messier and quicker to deal with.
3. What was the most important discovery you made in creating your logo?
The most important discovery I made when creating my logo is the fact that coloring brown very lightly and using a little bit of yellow makes a beautiful color. I also mixed skyblue and green together in order to make a better version of blue.
4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos, powerpoints, and reading the material for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
The most important thing that I have learned from reading the material was the fact that logo's actually have standards. I've always thought that a person would just create a logo and place it on another object. I never knew that logo designers had to create simple guidelines for outside vendors. I think the videos are overall interesting to watch
